Strażnik Feniksa | Phoenix Guard

Dziś jedna z tych średniostaroszkolnych figurek Wysokich Elfów. Nowe figurki dla tej rasy, wydane wraz z pojawieniem się 4. wydania gry, zwiastowały nowy styl Warhammera. Projekt tych elfów uległ całkowitej zmianie w stosunku do dość nielicznych figurek tej rasy dostępnych wcześniej, pojawił się znacznie dokładniejszy opis historii krainy Wysokich Elfów i ich samych.

Wtedy to w grze pojawili się też Strażnicy Feniksa, miniaturka jednego z nich, pomalowana przez Mormega, widoczna jest obok. Ten konkretny wzór to jednak figurka pochodząca z następnej fali rzeźb dla długouchych z Ulthuanu, która pojawiła się gdzieś na początku tego tysiąclecia.

Podstawka nie wykończona, jak to bywało u mojego brata w pewnym okresie. Nie jestem pewny, czy do oddziału pomalował coś więcej, ale Strażnicy jako tacy pojawiają się w naszych grach.

Today I'd like to show one of middle old schoold High Elves miniatures. New figures for this race were available with release of 4th edition of WFB and they were prime example of the new style of design for this game as their look was totally different to the miniatures available earlier. Ulthuan, land of elven kingdoms, was much more detailed too, together with its inhibitants and history of theirs.

One of the new unit in the game were Phoenix Guards - one of them, painted by Mormeg, is visible next to this note. This particular miniature is from younger edition of the game though, I think it was released in the first years of this century, when entire line was resculpted third time (not the last too).

Base is not finished - my brother intended to make all bases in the unit together but I think this was the only one Guard ever painted. Still, basecoated ones are being used in our battles :)
