Ogar Abaddona | Hound of Abaddon

Kilka dni temu pomalowałem widocznego obok berzerkera Czarnego Legionu, tym razem wyglądającego nieco inaczej od wcześniejszych. Zamiast czerwonego hełmu otrzymał czerwony naramiennik, inspirowany ilustracją z dodatku "Black Legion". Jedną stronę poświęcono w nim opisaniu wyznawców Khorne'a służących w Czarnym Legionie, a ja bezczelnie zerżnąłem - z lekką modyfikacją - schemat malowania. Choć w sumie w przypadku żołnierzy Abaddona schemat to chyba za dużo powiedziane... Sama figurka malowana raczej błyskawicznie, choć w czasie co najmniej czterech wieczorów. Nie mogłem, po prostu, jakoś do niej przysiąść i skończyć za jednym posiedzeniem. Najbardziej zadowolony jestem z chyba czaszkowego hełmu.
Mam trochę mieszane odczucia dotyczące samej pozy, w jakiej skleiłem tę miniaturkę. Z jednej strony wygląda mocno dynamicznie, z drugiej, z tej samej przyczyny, trochę groteskowo. Pocieszam się tym, że na żywo nie jest to aż tak zauważalne jak na fotografiach.

A few days ago I managed to put some paints on this Black Legion's berzerker. This one is looking a little different then previously painted berzerkers, as it has red shoulder pad instead of helmet. I was inspired by a illustration from "Black Legion" supplement. One page of this book is dedicated to followers of Khorne fightning in ranks of Abaddon's legion and there is one of the Hounds of Abaddon, as they are known, shown there. Miniature was painted really fast but during at least four sessions. I have some kind of difficulties painting lately, as I can't really paint anything longer then 20, maybe 30 minutes... Painting burnout probably... I like skull helmet most, it is the best part of this miniature and painting I think.
I have mixed feelings about pose of the miniature. It looks really dynamic I think but... on the other hand it is a little grotesque at the same time. Fortunately it is not that visibile on the table...
