Ruinki | Small ruins

Jakiś czas temu kupiłem potrójny zestaw Ruin Osgiliath, wcześniej od dawna niedostępny w sprzedaży bezpośrednio u producenta, a przywrócony dzięki powrotowi do Hobbita. To bardzo fajne modele ruin, bardzo uniwersalne, nieźle zrobione, z ciężkiego, litego plastiku.

Upał zniechęca mnie i w zasadzie uniemożliwia prace malarskie nad figurkami, postanowiłem więc zrobić testowo najmniejszy z elementów Ruin. Trochę farby, drybrush paroma kolorami, trochę washy i voila, gotowe.

Some time ago I bought a tripack of Ruins of Osgiliath, which have been unavailable for a long, long time. Fortunately, after deciding to support Hobbit and Lotr again, Games Workshop made this excellent kit available again. Ruins are casted in heavy, solid plastic and require little work to assemble.

As the high temperature makes miniature painting close to impossible in my workshop, I decided to test paint a smallest part of the set, small ruins. So, a little paint, drybrush with few colours, some washes and voila, here it is. I like how it looks, it will be useful not only for gaming, but for taking photos too.

The only downside is that I used my usual color for painting stone walls - and I didn't notice that the pot is close to being empty. Color is no longer produced, so next elements of the set will vary a little bit.

  1. Wyszły przecież świetnie! Bardzo starannie pomalowane jak na makietę.

    1. Jak to mawiają: "pełna podpinka" pod słowa Gervaza!
      Bardzo udany efekt szarości kamienia.

  4. Ech, chciałabym mieć tyle cierpliwości i dokładności do malowania makiet. Piękna uniwersalna ruina.
