Kaplica z Ogrodu Morra (część III) | Garden of Morr chapel (part III)

Uświadomiłem to sobie dopiero w trakcie malowania, widząc szpary w łączeniach części.

Suchy pędzel to Celestra Grey i miejscami Ushabti Bone. Dachówki były również drybrushowane, najpierw kolorem Wild Rider Red, potem Troll Slayer Orange. Po wyschnięciu wykorzystałem wash Athonian Camoshade do naniesienia wilgoci, mchów i podobnych zabrudzeń. Miejscami naniosłem też zacieki i plamy z washy w kolorze brązu.

Some time ago I realized that there is one common element visible on the large part of my title photos - chapel, part of excellent set Garden of Morr - painted over two years ago. Since that time I managed to paint just one more element of this set, a monument. As I want to vary a background of photos a little bit more, I assembled two more buildings from the Garden, two chapels, leaving fence for later (hopefully not much later).

Both buildings were assembled few weeks ago and then left to mature;) Meantime, I simply forgot why small tower from the larger chapel was left not glued on... So, when I wanted to paint this model, I glued it on... And then, when the first coats of the paint were already on the model, I realized that I forgot to use filler on the very visible joints of the tower... Well, great...

Painting was done with airbrush and drybrush mostly with some minor effects done with washes. Whole building was basecoated with black paint, and then again whole model was airbrushed with Medium Grey color from Air range of paints by Vallejo. Large roof tiles were hand painted with Mephiston Red. After all colors were dry, whole model was airbrushed with thinned Nuln Oil wash. This was repeated when the wash was dry, with special attention given to the lower parts of the building and the sections with some overhangs.

Drybrush on the stone was done with Celestra Grey and - at places - Ushabti Bone. Roof tiles were drybrushed with Wild Rider Red and Troll Slayer Orange. Athonian Camoshade wash was used for making stains of algae etc. Other places were treated with various shades of brown washes.

  1. Piękne! Szczególnego charakteru i wyrazistości dodaje czerwony dach. Bardzo mi się podoba dobór kolorów! O malowaniu szczegółów nie bedę pisał bo to klasa sama w sobie.

Ogród Morra to był swego czasu chyba najlepszy zestaw terenów GW w ujęciu cena / jakość / ilość
