Ferie zaczęły się dla co poniektórych, dla innych właśnie się skończyły, jeszcze inni, zgrzytając zębami, idą jutro w codzienny kierat do biur, fabryk, sklepów i urzędów. Albo i nie, jeśli właśnie szukają pracy. Niezależnie jednak od nastroju związanego z niedzielnym końcem weekendu, zapraszam wszystkich do zapoznania się z kolejnym wydaniem "Wybranych z tygodnia". I - jak zawsze - zachęcam do zostawiania śladu swojego czytania w postaci komentarzy, lajków, plusów, udostępniania, linkowania i podobnego wyrażania swego zdania.
Zaczynamy od rozmaitych fajnych obrazków:
- Najsampierw, jak mogliby powiedzieć co starsi Polacy, damy coś krajowego. Camelson poświęcił kilka dni malując figurkę Belegara Ironhammera, jeden z nowych modeli krasnoludów wydanych przez GW. Rezultaty jego pracy widać tuż obok, a więcej na blogu autora malowania.
- Ze świata młota przenieśmy się w uniwersum młotów energetycznych - Julien Casses i jego eldarski Wraithlord, zdobywca złota na GD Włochy w 2010 r. Świetne operowanie światłocieniem, a sama figurka, co warte zauważenia, została pomalowana bez użycia aerografu.
- David "Sproket" Soper, inny ze zdobywców GD, ukończył w końcu kolejną dioramę - nosi ona nazwę "Chee-Chee" i można ją obejrzeć tutaj. Jedno ze zdjęć widoczne jest również obok anglojęzycznej części notki. A sam pan Soper pojawi się jeszcze w dzisiejszym wpisie.
- Lord Glutów i Śluzu doczekał się kolejnego figurkowego wyznawcy - Martin Klug, prowadzący blog (T)Raumschmiede pomalował drednota Nurgla. Bardzo podoba mi się w tym przypadku dobór kolorów.
- Załoga Massive VooDoo przyzwyczaiła już wszystkich do świetnego poziomu swych prac. Nie inaczej jest z "Nocną strażą", nową dioramą autorstwa Romana. Możecie się z nią zapoznać w tym wpisie na blogu MV.
- Są takie armie, do których mam wielką słabość. Należą do nich jaszczury z WFB. Na blogu Tale of Painters można obejrzeć oddział skinków, których malowanie bardzo mi odpowiada. Nie są przesadnie jaskrawe, a jednocześnie wyglądają naprawdę kozacko i realistycznie. Chętnie stałbym się posiadaczem tak pomalowanej armii...
- A na sam koniec mała ilustracja tego, do czego prowadzi nieprzestrzeganie zasad ruchu w kosmosie;)
Poradniki:
- Dwa razy wspomniany już dziś David Soper. Tu pokazuje nam jak pomalować rdzę, natomiast tutaj dzieli się z nami swoimi tajnikami kolorów używanych podczas malowania techniką NMM.
- Eric the Shed z bloga Shedwars pokazuje, jak zrobić - w prosty sposób - słupy telegraficzne, czy też telefoniczne.
- Natomiast Rob Hawkins dzieli się na swoim blogu pomysłem na budowę prostych schodów.
- Blog Santa Cruz Warhammer Historical i trzy (pierwszy, drugi, trzeci) artykuły poświęcone budowie terenu do gry - od domków, poprzez ruiny, do szop, ścian i innych drobiazgów. W oryginale dedykowane Bolt Action, w praktyce do wszystkiego, sposób robienia jest podobny. I jeszcze jedno - to nie są poradniki jako takie - to raczej opis robienia makiety przez autora. Ale naprawdę warty zerknięcia.
- Coś z niczego, czyli zrób sobie puszkę na makietę - autorem jest Arne Wilkens z bloga A Painter's Thoughts. Oryginalnie skala typowo modelarska 1:35, ale sam sposób sprawdzi się też w 28 mm.
- Poradnik wyjątkowo na czasie - malowanie skóry krasnoludów, spisane przez Darrena Lathama z bloga Razzaminipainting.
- Skoro już jesteśmy przy malowaniu skóry - jak pomalować bladą skórę - poradnik autorstwa Kariego Hernesniemiego z bloga Spiky Rat Pack.
- I - dla odmiany - coś mocno nasyconego czerwienią. Malowanie Magmatraxa, czempiona Chaosu, autorstwa Vincenta Hudona.
- Polski akcent w tej części - Paulina ze studia malarskiego Den of Imagination dzieli się z nami swoim sposobem na freehandowe malowanie ikony Raven Guard.
- Peter Harrison na blogu The Fraying Paintbrush podzielił się z nami swoim sposobem na rzeźbienie onuc.
- Makbeer z bloga Narrating The Forging pokazuje, krok po kroku, malowanie żółto-czarnych pasów ostrzegawczych.
- David King opublikował na swoim blogu Kings Miniatures prosty ale bardzo skuteczny sposób masowego robienia grzybów na makiety. Ach, ten posmak oldskulowych grzybków na podstawkach...:)
- A osobom, preferującym słowo mówione i ruchome obrazki nad statyczne zdjęcia i tekst proponuję kanał YouTube The Terrain Tutor. Kilkanaście nieźle zrobionych filmów, pokazujących zarówno zaawansowane, jak i całkiem proste metody budowy makiet i elementów stołu.
- Orlygg z bloga Realm of Chaos 80s opisuje i pokazuje, jak buduje warhammerowy domek na stół, korzystając z porad zawartych w starym White Dwarfie i modyfikując je nieco pod kątem wykorzystania nowych materiałów.
Inne:
Tylko dwa materiały. Pierwszy to wywiad z Romanem Lappatem z Massive VooDoo (autorem pokazywanej dziś "Nocnej Straży"), przeprowadzony przez Volomira na jego blogu. Drugi to kampania kickstarterowa gry "Pulp City". Serdecznie zachęcam do zainteresowania się tą grą - to w olbrzymiej części produkt polski, z tonami świetnych, komiksowych figurek.
Na zakończenie, tradycyjnie, chciałbym pokazać co działo się w ramach tej serii notek ponad trzy lata temu, w 16. odcinku "Wybranych...", oraz przypomnieć o podobnych notkach autorstwa Quidamcorvusa.
Winter break has begun for some people, others are going to the school again tomorrow. Others, as every Monday, are going to work in offices, factories, stores... Or not, if they are unemployed and looking for a job. But all of them share one thing - I invite all of them to read yet another "Chosen from the week" not and urge them to leave some trace of being here - comment, "like", "plus" or something similar.

- As the Polish sportsmen gave us two golds in Sochi yesterday, let's start with Polish painter. Camelson has painted this new miniature of Belegar Ironhammer released by GW. You can see final effect of his work next to the Polish part of this note and more photos on the Camelson's blog here.
- From the world of the hammer we are going to the universe of power hammers - Julien Casses and his Eldar Wraithlord, winner of the Gold at the GD Italy 2010. I love shadows and highlights on this miniature, which was painted entirely without airbrush.
- David "Sproket" Soper is yet another GD winner. he has finally finished another diorama - it is labelled as a "Chee-Chee" and you can see it here. One of the photos is visible next to the English section of this note and Mr. Soper himself will be mentioned in this blog entry twice more today.
- Lord of Bogey and Slime has another follower - Martin Klug from (T)Raumschmiede blog has finished his Nurgle Dreadnought. I really like the choice of colours.
- Massive VooDoo crew is well known as superb painters and modellers. You can judge by himself how good one of the crew, Roman, is, looking at his newest piece of work - "Nightwatch" diorama.
- There are some WFB armies which I really like - Lizardmen are amongst them. Tale of Painters blog has shared with us some photos of recently painted Skinks unit. I love the color scheme here, very natural and realistic and at the same time these tiny lizards look really dangerous. I'd love to own whole army painted in this scheme.
- And last thing in this section - this is what happens when one doesn't follow space controllers orders;)
