Mormeg pokazywał tę figurkę dość dawno temu, moja natomiast przestała bardzo długo na półeczce, pomalowana Nihilakh Oxide i zostawiona na później. Stałaby pewnie jeszcze dłużej, gdyby nie dwie nowe farby Citadel, wypuszczone na rynek z okazji premiery nowej frakcji ożywieńców w Age of Sigmar, Nightgaunts - Nightgaunt Gloom i Hexwraith Flame. Pierwsza to kolor przygaszony, sinoniebieski, druga natomiast to dość przeźroczysty, jaskrawy zielony.

Pomyślałem sobie, że to niezła okazja do przetestowania tych kolorów - w końcu i tak trzeba tego cienia kiedyś skończyć. Okazało się, że obie nowe farby są naprawdę fajne - na miniaturce widać cienie porobione Gloomem i rozjaśnienia i włosy nową zielenią. Patrząc na zdjęcia widać, że mógłbym chyba pobawić się jeszcze w jaśniejsze krawędzie, na szczęście na żywo są one wyraźniej widoczne. 

Teraz czas na nowe plastikowe upiory, nie mogę się doczekać ich malowania, ale - póki co - auro totalnie nie sprzyja.

Mormeg has shown his version of this miniature a long time ago here on the blog, my own has been sitting on the work shelf for a very long time though. It was basecoated and washed with Nihilakh Oxide only and left for later. With the release of two new technical paints from Citadel, Nightgaunt Gloom and Hexwraith Flame, which were produced specifically for new undead faction in Age of Sigmar, there was a perfect oppurtunity to finish my shade.

Both paints are excellent I think. Deep shadows on the miniature were painted with Gloom color, which was gradually blended to more greyish and white then, and some of those lighter areas were then glazed with thinned down Hexwraith Flame. The same method was used on hair of the ghosts.

Looking at the pictures, edges could be more highlighted maybe, fortunately they seem just fine in the reality...

Not time for new Nightgaunts, I can't wait to paint them. Unfortunately, it is so hot and humid here in Poland that I just have to wait more...
